Restaurant takes tourist .... Bad food, bad drink and awful service and still charge “covered” and 12% tips!

The environment is beautiful, well decorated and the waiter super attentive. After many days in Italy I needed to eat salad because my body does not function well eating a lot of pasta. My husband ordered a beer, the salad and juice. The intention was that he would subsequently request the pizza as he would be enjoying the beer. The waiter returned explaining that if we were to share the salad we would be charged 5 euros more. We then made the pizza order. The waitress, more graceless yet, came back saying that salad was not considered a dish and therefore, the 5 euros would still be charged. I understand that at the end of the menu these rules are detailed but there are actions that mark us deeply. We got up and gave up. Did the owner ever feel bad on the trip? Was he treated this way? A little solidarity about the financial interest doesn't hurt anyone. I do not recommend. I will never come back and I will spread my indignation wherever I can.

This restaurant is well worth it

Very close to the square, it is a good restaurant with attentive service. Good quality food, although not excellent and high prices. Taking me two plates and my wife only one, plus a bottle of wine we spent about 120 €.
