Situated at the top of the flight of steps in Piazza Vittoria in Anacapri, Mariorita is the island's largest quality department store. Opened in 1953, Mariorita immediately gained international recognition for its impressive selection of men's and women's clothing from all of the most important designer collections, in addition to a large section dedicated to precious corals and cameos fashioned by local jewelers. The interior furnishing department displays pieces of elegant furniture and a range of Capodimonte porcelain all of which is shipped, on request, to destinations worldwide.
