TerraMMare is the Island of Capri's first authentic farm stay, created in a beautifully restored old stone building, on the slopes of Monte Solaro and directly above the historic center of Anacapri.

Little luxuries, big views

TerraMMare has just four attractive double bedrooms and 1 suite, the latter complete with whirlpool bath.

All rooms enjoy fabulous views out over the surrounding mountainside, the town of Anacapri, and, in the distance, the sea and islands of the Bay of Naples

Anacapri's organic oasis

The TerraMMare farm stay covers some 16000sqm of land, part of which is used for the cultivation of organic fruit and vegetables and the rearing of pigs.
The rest of the estate has been deliberately left as natural woodland and is part of an important project, involving vets from the Campania region, which aims to reintroduce some of Capri's indigenous animal species to this part of the island.

Fun on the farm

Whilst at TerraMMare guests can choose whether to simply unwind and relax, or get actively involved in life on the farm: perhaps helping to 'feed the animal''s or pick the fruit and vegetables growing in the kitchen garden'''.

Those wishing to learn a few of the secrets of local cuisine, can assist Milena, TerraMMare's owner, whilst she prepares her own very special versions of typical island dishes using ingredients fresh from the farm.

Meals are served in the simply furnished restaurant's dining room or, in warm weather, outside on the terrace.
