Villa Le Scale is situated in Anacapri, the highest and, arguably, the most panoramic part of the island of Capri. The fabulous early 19th century country residence, once the property of the noble Barons Monti della Corte, with its fine Neoclassical architectural style, is one of the very few surviving historic mansion houses which can be found in Anacapri.

Villa Le Scale enjoys a privileged position in the immediate vicinity of the house built by the eminent Swedish physician and author, Axel Munthe, which has now been transformed in to a fascinating museum. Villa Le Scale's refined and graceful ambiance is the result of a comprehensive refurbishment project supervised by the owner, an antiquarian and art collector of great repute.

The mansion retains all the appeal of the Capri of yesteryear, enhanced by modern facilities, each carefully selected so as to be sensitive to the structure's original features. The luxury villa has beautifully furnished suites: the Artist's Suite, the Collector's Suite, the Venetian, the Voyager, the Louis XVI, the Pool room and the Empire room.

Facilities available to guests include fitness center, Jacuzzi, Kneipp course, heated swimming pool and solarium. The extensive grounds of Villa Le Scale offer visitors a fabulously colorful display of pine, palm and pomegranate trees, hibiscus, passion-flowers, hydrangeas, roses and magnolias, all of which fill the air with the sweet scents of the Mediterranean.

The villa complete with staff is available, from May to October, for exclusive rental and events.
