Hike to the top of Mount Solaro, the highest point on the island, and enjoy a 360 degree view over Capri, the Gulf of Naples, and the Bay of Salerno.
The itinerary includes a guided hike up to the peak, but you can also opt to do a portion with the chairlift. There are two trails to the peak of Mount Solaro, one easy and one more challenging. We will choose which to take together: the easier of the two takes about an hour walk uphill and much less back down; the more challenging takes about 40 minutes longer and is a steeper climb. You must wear shoes suitable to mountain hiking. We recommend leaving early in the morning or late in the afternoon during the summer months. This hike is not suitable for small children or those with limited mobility.
Duration: about 3 hours
