For more than a century, the Aurora restaurant and pizzeria, owned by the D'Alessio family, has been serving visitors to Capri with the finest food and wine.

Traditional treats with a pinch of creativity

The restaurant, on the fashionable Via Fuorlovado, has gained wide spread international acclaim for its excellent Mediterranean cuisine and for its traditional Neapolitan and Caprese specialties to which Chef Franco Aversa adds that sprinkling of culinary innovation, which places the Aurora among the most exclusive restaurants on the island.

Order as starter the famous pizza all'acqua, an original old recipe of pizza, served with mozzarella and red peppers.

Capri's wine wizard

The Aurora restaurant was among the very first establishments to introduce a selection of quality wines to Capri and over the years has continued to seek out the very best Italian and International wines.

This passion for fine wines and the ever-expanding wine cellar of the Aurora has led to the opening of the centrally located Vino , a fabulous wine bar with an impressive exposition of wines, which, from day one, has proved to be extremely popular with locals and visitors to the island alike.

Fui hoje almoçar no restaurante com família. Atendimento foi péssimo e rude. A comida veio fria O filé mignon que pedimos estava longe de ser filé mignon. Carne de 2a. Em resumo foi a 2a vez que foi no restaurante mas a última. Uma pena. O ambiente não condiz com a baixa qualidade do serviço (atendimento rude) e da comida. Não recomendo para ninguém.

Das Essen war lecker, aber leider waren die Kellner unfreundlich. So wie in den meisten Restaurants in Capri wird man einfach abgefertigt. Als Resümee der Hype um dieses Restaurant ist für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Wir hatten einen leckeren Abend aber Preis- Leistung passt am Ende nicht. Man zahlt für eine Pizza die mehr einem Flammkuchen gleicht 35 Euro. Wir haben uns Vor- und Hauptspeise geteilt, zwei Dessert und Getränke 180 Euro… Keine Empfehlung!!!

Non eravamo convinte di provare questo posto ma siamo rimaste veramente soddisfatte dei piatti! Qualità molto alta! Gamberoni eccezionali! Il tavolo che ci han dato non era dei migliori, vicino alla cucina! E non era così affollato! Alla fine ti offrono dei dolcetti della casa così finisci il vino in compagnia! Carina l’idea! Adesso torniamo per provare la pizza!!!
