Fondazione Capri Capri

Inspired by the Capri of times past, when the island was the elected refuge of some of the world's greatest artists, Fondazione Capri was created with the aim of promoting the island as a cultural tourism destination par excellence. The foundation's program foresees the contribution of national and international artists and, at the same time, maintains a close relationship with the island's institutions and the local population.

Literary seminars and concerts, theatrical performances and conferences, photographic exhibitions and public meetings: Fondazione Capri's calendar of events is a unique showcase for all forms of art.

Projects promoted by Fondazione Capri thus far include: the Capri Trend Watching Festival, preview of emerging lifestyles; Mimmo Jodice's photographic exhibition in the Charterhouse of San Giacomo; Travelogue, a work in progress to introduce contemporary art to the younger generations; and Abitare La Bellezza, a contemporary dance project supervised by Gigi Cristoforetti.
