Qualità e cortesia per un ristorante di livello a Capri

Ristorante posizionato a pochi metri dai giardini di Augusto, si caratterizza anche per la splendida vista sul mare. Ciò detto, la qualità ed il livello di servizio sono elevati e -ovviamente- si fanno pagare. Piatti buoni e convincenti (più i primi che gli antipasti) eseguiti con perizia e con un gusto contemporaneo. Insomma, a guardare solo il piatto, si potrebbe anche pensare di stare in un buon ristorante di pesce di Milano. Comunque, vista, ambiente, cucina e servizio, lo rendono un posto interessante in cui cenare senza sentirsi preda di un locale turistico. Ne vale la pena.

Inizio con un Complimento, alla gestione, al personale, alla scelta dei menù Vino/Portate. Antipasti e primi buonissimi, fatti veramente bene. Ma mi ha colpito la carta dei vini, accessibile a tutte le tasche. Si partiva da un minimo di 30 euro, non tutto il turismo è Élite, ma anche persone comuni. Ed il vostro ristorante agevola la scelta. Siamo arrivati dopo una piccola pioggia estiva, alle 19:00 circa. Rendendo tutto magico, avendo avuto tutta la sala vuota per ben 30 minuti con una vista su i faraglioni senza eguali. Ancora oggi rivivo quella serata, Grazie a tutto il personale! Premuroso, accogliente, gentile... Grazie davvero per aver reso una serata di coppia indimenticabile!

Never disappoints. Outstanding pomodoro (I got it with Spaghetti, but the menu pairs it with ravioli). Friendly service. Was there with wife and two children (all of whom are used to excellent Italian from living in NYC) and a friend. We all had a great experience. This is my 4th time at Il Geranio, and it's consistently wonderful. Delightful setting.

This restaurant has amazing views and the food is delicious. The service was attentive but too much so sometimes as wanted a leisurely lunch and kept getting asked if we wanted dessert. Overall would recommend even though it’s a bit of a walk from Capri town
