O Guarracino - taverna
Once the site of a 17th century olive press, the building housing the taverna O Guaraccino was converted in to a night club in 1957 including the unusual practice of customers being transported there from the Piazzetta to the Monstery of Santa Teresa in a sedan chair!
In 1972 brothers Bruno and Gianni Lembo, armed with guitars made by man, voices given by god and a collection of songs inherited from their father, embarked on the fabulous musical adventure which continues to this very day. Together with Renato "Villanelle", Bruno and Gianni entertain guests with the best Neapolitan songs and the occasional tribute to Southern America.
Members of the audience, be they full blooded Neapolitans or passing tourists, will find it difficult to resist the urge to participate in this nightly rendition of spectacular musical entertainment. Cantanapoli!
