Dining under the lemon trees

Three reasons why you'll love it here

  1. The fragrance of 130 lemon trees of the garden
  2. Order as starter the "bomba", a pizza stuffed with tomato, mozzarella and ham
  3. The variety of lemon desserts with a unique flavour

The best restaurant in Capri? There are so many great places to eat on the island that it's difficult to say, but da Paolino, famous for its excellent food and wine served beneath Capri's fragrant lemon trees, is certainly close to being the favorite.

Citrus trees and celebrities

Any number of stars of the silver screen have sat beneath Paolino's lemon trees. Tom Cruise, Mimi Rogers, John Belushi, George Hamilton, Luca di Montezemolo, Feragamo: just a few of the celebrities to have added their names to the restaurant's guest book, since 1978.

A family tradition

Generation after generation, the De Martino family has been serving exquisite island cuisine to both locals and holidaymakers for decades.

A plate of mixed vegetable and seafood antipasti, followed by the catch of the day, and accompanied by any of a superb selection of the region's wines: a taste of a typical dinner at da Paolino.

A warning to all those on a low-calorie diet: da Paolino's dessert buffet, piled high with deliciously sweet concoctions, has achieved legendary status on the island - and beyond!

A truly special event

The perfect choice for lovers of traditional island cooking, Da Paolino is a great location for a wedding reception, banquet, or after-meeting dinner too.

Within easy walking distance of Marina Grande, the restaurant is just short taxi drive away from the center of Capri and Anacapri. Those travelling from the Amalfi Coast or Naples can book the restaurant's "Fast Boat Transfer".
