Capricorno
The Capricorno is a brand new entry on Capri's vibrant restaurant scene: a contemporary style eatery which adds a tantalising modern twist to the island's age-old culinary tradition.
From the famous Piazzetta of Capri, passing beneath the arch of Via Longano, visitors soon find themselves in front of the Restaurant Capricorno. Inside the restaurant, elements of contemporary design share space with traditional architectural features such as the vaulted ceilings, so very typical of Capri. The immense windows of the dining room afford a spectacular view of Marina Grande and the whole of the Gulf of Naples.
Ample room is reserved on the menu for the Capricorno's sublime grilled specialities. In the kitchen, visible from the dining room, there is a large grill on which delectable fish and meat is cooked to perfection. At the Capricorno particular attention is given to the preparation of sumptuous antipasti and wonderful home made pasta. Traditional island dishes, packed with the flavours and aromas of the Mediterranean, are accompanied by a superb selection of regional and national wines.
Capricorno - Location
You could almost say that the Capricorno was situated in Capri's famous Piazzetta. In fact, so close is the eatery to the legendary square, that it is sufficient to pass beneath the arch of Via Longano to find oneself before the restaurant doors. Inside, large windows offer an enchanting view of the island, over the harbour of Marina Grande and the Gulf of Naples.
