complete disappointment

Very disappointed with this family-run hotel a bit eccentric and where we stayed one night. Rather laudable opinions do not reflect lived reality. Our room, whose price was 190 euros, was without charm and comfort, poor bedding, curtains are not blackout. When the hotel is full, you can't imagine how you can rest there, as the soundproofing is mediocre, the brick partitions, the tiles on the floor and the promiscuity of the rooms. As for the minibar, placed on a tablet, it was neither connected nor supplied. The breakfast is of very insufficient quality and devoid of flavor. No fresh bread, no juice, no fresh fruit, just lemons laid for decoration. Cold cuts, cheeses and desserts do not make you want to. It's the first time I've had breakfast with rusks at the hotel! I do not recommend anyway, although Rita the owner is nice and helpful. Hotel looking for profitability.

This hotel is a true gem: aside from its quiet location in one of Anacapri’s side alleys it stands out for its cleanliness, the hospitality, the professional & lovable owners & staff, lovely decor and amenities! The welcome upon checking in was warm and very individual: I received lots of useful information (also in the following days). On top, the owners and the staff was always ready for a small chat and they asked me about my plans and how days went. The room was sparkling clean, had a refrigerator, aircon/heating, safe. The view from my window/balcony lovely. I slept like a baby as it was quiet. Breakfast was typically Italian with various cornettos and freshly made coffee specialties plus cold cuts, cheese and some cereals. The hotel also has a fantastic pool area with small pool bar. I had a wonderful time and hope to come back!

My stay at Hotel La Bussola was really great. We enjoyed every detail: the valuable advice of Mrs. Rita, the courtesy of Mr. Cyrus and Christian, the rich and delicious breakfast buffet, in addition to the clean and comfortable rooms. The property is ideally located, a few steps from the square of Anacapri and the church of Hagia Sophia, with a convenient grocery store nearby. A strong point of the hotel is certainly the beautiful swimming pool with solarium, perfect for relaxing and admiring the view. We will definitely be back: they made our holiday a very pleasant experience.

Very nice hotel, nice rooms, nice and functional. Run by Rita and her brother Cristiano with the help of Ciro very nice, they manage, with their kind, courteous and affable ways to make you feel at home. Attentive to every need put guests in a position to spend the holiday at its best. Hotel also equipped with swimming pool and solarium, located near the center of Anacapri and from bus and taxi stops. Definitely will return

Immersed in green gardens, Hotel Alla Bussola is situated in a particularly peaceful area of Anacapri, within easy reach of the historic center.

Just a short walk separates the hotel from the pedestrianised town center and a great number of the island's most popular tourist attractions such as the Villa of Axel Munthe, the Church of San Michele, and the Monte Solaro Chair lift.
