October 2026 Events Program – Emozioni d'Autunno
"Emozioni d'Autunno" events calendar for October 2026: a program rich in cultural events in Capri and Anacapri, including concerts, book presentations, theatrical performances, international music competitions, author-led walks and comics-related initiatives, at various venues across the island.

October 28 – November 1, 2026 – Giardini di Flora Caprense, Capri
Halloween Academy 2026 – The Monstrously Fun Adventure of Villa Caprense
Five days of Halloween-themed games, workshops and activities for children and families, with an Academy “passport” stamped for each completed day and a final diploma awarded after three days of participation. The program includes challenges, potion and mask workshops, team games, film screenings, a party with DJ set on October 31 and, on November 1, a golden pumpkin hunt, a costume parade and a graduation ceremony.

October 29, 2026 – Teatro Paradiso, Anacapri
Anacapri Sguardi Teatrali – Il Visitatore (The Visitor)
Theatrical performance “Il Visitatore” by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, directed by Cristina Balzani, part of the 2nd edition of Anacapri Sguardi Teatrali, starting at 7:00 pm at Teatro Paradiso. The cast features Mario Staiano as Sigmund Freud, Ilaria D’Urzo as Anna Freud, Christian Farace as the Visitor and Francesco Palumbo as the Nazi officer. Admission is free.

October 31, 2026 – Villa Rosa and Parco Giochi, Anacapri
Halloween Party
Halloween day promoted by the Comune di Anacapri, with a shared reading session and themed workshop followed by a snack at Villa Rosa from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and in the afternoon, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, baby dance, entertainment, small games and a hot chocolate and cotton candy corner at the Parco Giochi. Booking is required for the Villa Rosa event.

November 1, 2026 – Sala Consiliare, Capri
Pasolini. L’uomo mercificato ed omologato (Pasolini: The Commodified and Homogenized Man)
Theatrical performance by Matteo Fratarcangeli dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini, part of Emozioni d’Autunno, starting at 5:00 pm in the Sala Consiliare of the Comune di Capri.

November 3, 2026 – Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio, Capri
Presentation of the book “Ventimila specie (o quasi) sotto il mare” by Andrea Bonifazi
Presentation of the book “Ventimila specie (o quasi) sotto il mare. Viaggio tra dune, abissi e alieni del Mediterraneo” (Twenty Thousand Species, or Almost, Under the Sea) by Dr. Andrea Bonifazi, published by Sperling & Kupfer, with a preface by Emanuele Biggi, at 9:30 am at Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio, Piazzetta I. Cerio 5. It is followed by a field excursion to Marina Grande, in collaboration with the Associazione Marevivo.

Author’s Walks – In Search of Capritudine
A series of cultural walks curated by Renato Esposito, dedicated to discovering the history, landscapes, literature, and unique atmosphere of the island of Capri. The program includes guided itineraries, sunrise and sunset concerts, cultural encounters, and themed experiences held in various locations across the island between June and November 2026.

September 9 – November 3, 2026 – Mediateca Cacace, Anacapri
Il Respiro dell'Oceano (The Breath of the Ocean)
Photography exhibition featuring a selection of images from the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Environmental Photography Award. The opening takes place on September 9 at 11:00 am at Mediateca Cacace, via Giuseppe Orlandi, Anacapri, and the exhibition runs through November 3, 2026.

September 5 – November 8, 2026 – Villa San Michele, Anacapri
Festival del Paesaggio Anacapri 2026 – The Observer
Group exhibition curated by Arianna Rosica and Gianluca Riccio, as part of the tenth edition of the Festival del Paesaggio di Anacapri. Participating artists: Francis Alÿs, Ali Cherri, Irene Fenara, Andrea Francolino, Eva Giolo, Elisa Sighicelli, Luca Vitone, and Klara Zetterholm. Opening on September 5 at 6:30 PM.
