Located on the waterfront where the Emperor Tiberius built his sumptuous seaside villa, Restaurant Bagni di Tiberio is one of Capri's most enchanting eateries.

A taste of the sea

Inspired by the island's age old culinary tradition, Bagni di Tiberio's menu includes all of Capri's best-loved dishes, prepared with the freshest of fish and seasonal vegetables.
Ensuring the perfect accompaniment to each and every meal, the restaurant's wine list features only the finest local and regional wines.

Eat and swim

A restaurant famous for its excellent fish cuisine, Bagni di Tiberio is a historic bathing establishment too, where sun worshippers happily while away the day, lazing in the solarium and swimming in the warm sea lapping the shores of Capri.

A small bay, a star-specked sky, exquisite cuisine, a party on the beach: ingredients for a dream wedding at Bagni di Tiberio

Walk or sail to gourmet heaven

A tantalizing aroma of the sea lingers in the air above Capri's Bagni di Tiberio, a superb water edge restaurant, from the terraces of which a magnificent view of the Bay of Naples can be seen. You can reach the restaurant on foot or by boat from Marina Grande.

beautiful location and crystal clear water with sunbeds right close to the shore, it was very scenic. unfortunately our experience was not the best though. had to go through multiple staff and was told to wait and staff just wouldn’t come back all to retrieve our pre-made reservation. our ferry was late so we arrived around 1 and we were told our reservation is cancelled because we are too late, this was not made clear at the time of booking at all. when eating in restaurant many people were shirtless and in bikinis but we were the only people told to cover up. frustratingly slow service

Wonderful water in an enchanting setting, good bar service, I recommend the sandwiches, very large and well-filled. Welcoming staff.

It is definitely worth a visit, but no more than that. In addition to the beach club, obviously expensive, we are in Capri, you have to add the round-trip boat transport from the port. The restaurant by the sea is good, prices are in line. A second visit is superfluous except for masochists. Almost non-existent beach.

When rudeness makes even the most beautiful place ugly

This weekend, I went with some friends to Bagni Tiberio. The choice was made due to excellent childhood memories, which were swept away in less than 10 minutes. After making a reservation days in advance, we arrived at the beach club by noon (the deadline indicated by the establishment to avoid losing the reservation). Upon our arrival, the solarium was empty, so we asked to be seated in the front row of the two available. The request, made politely and kindly, was rudely denied, with the addition that they had already organized the arrangement of the sunbeds. At least they accommodated us in a spot of the solarium that seemed to be more ventilated. The situation becomes absurd at lunchtime. We were denied seating at a table under the snack bar tent and were placed in a shaded area by the changing rooms, right next to them. The heat of the day combined with the table's location was unbearable, and we requested at least an umbrella to provide shade for the girls sitting half in the sun (the table's position did not allow otherwise!). Our request was accepted by the waiter practically at the end of lunch, along with a comment that I found offensive towards us! One can tolerate the service disruption, but not the rudeness! I certainly will not return, nor will I recommend it.

A leisurely 15 minute walk is all that lies between the port of Marina Grande and the terraces of Bagni di Tiberio. Clients can reach the restaurant on foot or by boat. Boats to the restaurant and bathing establishment depart from the small jetty just behind the ticket offices in Marina Grande.
