Great location and grounds but antiquated rooms

I really do hate to say this after looking forward to coming here - but probably would not stay again. The location and grounds cannot be surpassed. And service is great. But we had a 2 floor suite facing the pool - and it just felt old and poorly furnished (aside from the new and large tvs). No wall decor / art. Zero I mean zero floor coverings to soften the tiles. Even the marble stairs were bare and slippery. No counter space on bathrooms. And tiny bedside tables that hold nothing. Curtains hung in cheap plastic rings. It’s just not appropriate for an expensive luxury hotel. We just came from the Anatara in Amalfi where the room furnishings put this hotel go to shame. I will give props for the very good ac though.

The Grand Hotel Quisisana is not just a hotel, but the very soul of the charm of Capri. Despite the central location just steps away from the lively Piazzetta, crossing the threshold envelops you in an oasis of absolute tranquility and refined elegance. Our room, dominated by classic Caprese white and beautiful ceramics, offered a refreshing view of the internal gardens and impeccable sleep comfort. The true added value of the establishment is the service: the staff perfectly embodies the great school of Italian hospitality, proving to be extraordinarily attentive, discreet, and predictive. Special mention goes to the breakfast, rich in artisanal excellence, and to the iconic ritual of the aperitif on the terrace, unparalleled for experiencing the island's glamour. A legendary establishment that continues to redefine the concept of five-star luxury. Superb experience.

This is our fifth consecutive stay in GHQ. Everything is just perfect. You hsve to book and stay in this palace for understand how perfect they are.
