The Capri Coast to Coast tour offers an open voucher formula so you can decide when to take your tour any day within 20 days after the date indicated in your booking (on dates on which the tour is offered, daily from 1 March to 31 October).
The meeting point is at the Marina Grande port on Capri at the HP Travel offices on Via Don Giobbe Ruocco, n. 51.
The stop at the Blue Grotto during the tour is only made when the waiting time is under 45 minutes.
During the high season, the queue to enter the Grotto can last up to two hours, and in that case, the boat cannot wait that long.
When the stop is not possible, the island tour lasts about 1 hour, and upon returning to the port, your ticket remains valid for a later transfer directly to the Blue Grotto.

We had a fabulous day trip from Torre del Greco to Capri which included a boat trip round Capri. We then had free time on the island. The guide Anastasia was incredibly helpful and we bought a hop on hop off bus ticket and skip the line cable car ticket. (If you do this ignore everyone who says you need to queue and head for the desk). For an extra €6 we had a lovely lunch too.

I booked a tour of Pompeii and Vesuvius with transportation from Sorrento. The meet-up point in Sorrento was just a five minute walk from my Airbnb. Chiara was our tour guide on the bus, and Mimo was our driver. They were both excellent. Mimo managed the winding, narrow roads and hairpin turns with ease, and Chiara was very communicative. She kept us informed and explained our itinerary, and she also pointed out the sights we were passing on the bus. She did this in both english AND in Spanish since there was one Spanish speaking couple on our bus. There were only about 12 tourists on our bus, so it was a nice, small group. Pompeii is a must see for everyone who visits this region in Italy. Our guide through the streets and ruins of Pompeii was Giovanni, and he, too, was an excellent guide. I think it is essential to have someone explain exactly what we are seeing who can also answer questions. After Pompeii, we boarded the bus and were driven to a restauant for lunch. It was a nice restaurant which had some good views. The pizza and beer were tasty and satisfying. All in all, the lunch stop was better than I anticipated. After lunch, we headed to Vesuvius which my husband and I climbed on our own to the rim. The uphill walk to the rim in the late summer heat was challenging, but worth it!! I highly recommend this tour. It was a very good value for cost. We enjoyed our day immensely!

Is the Blue Grotto visit guaranteed during the boat tour?

The visit to the Blue Grotto is possible during the boat tour around Capri, but it is not guaranteed: it depends on sea conditions and the wait time at the entrance. The ticket is not included and must be paid for separately on site.
The tour always includes a complete island tour with panoramic views; the stop at the Grotto is only possible if the wait does not exceed 45 minutes. In high season, the wait can be up to 2 hours. If entry is not possible, the tour of the island continues as usual. When conditions permit, it is possible to return at a later time with a dedicated transfer at no additional cost.

What happens if the sea conditions are rough?

If sea conditions are rough, the skipper may adjust the route or exclude the Blue Grotto stop for safety reasons. Coastal navigation may still take place if conditions allow. When grotto access is not possible, the tour continues as a complete panoramic cruise around the island. All decisions are made on the day based on actual sea conditions.

Is it possible to cancel the booking?

The booking allows free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure. The voucher can be used within 20 days of the date entered during the booking process. After this deadline, no refunds are available. Cancellation terms are designed to offer flexibility to travelers. It is important to respect the stated deadlines to avoid penalties.
