You will pay for the view in the prices of the food. The food was excellent but so overpriced it spoiled the experience. We were foolish and didn't ask for a menu first. Coffee was 6 Euros, one slice of cake was 10 Euros, a Panino was 10 Euros and in addition to the high cost there was still a sitting fee. Outrageous!!

6 euros for a very average coffee. 10 euros for a disappointing and slightly stale cake. 1 euro cover charge for a cafe with plastic chairs and tables! You need either 1 euro or a token from the cafe to use the toilets. You can enjoy the view without using the cafe.

September 6th 2024. 11:10am. As I go to use the restroom I see the waiter who was serving the clients upstairs leaving the restroom without washing his hands. Few minutes later I see him serving drinks to people upstairs. Hygiene is minimum.

We ordered ham and cheese sandwiches of the menu. We brought them down and sat them on the table next to us. The handled them and then told them that it wasn't their order. He picked it up and dumped it on our table despite the other customers having already handled it. He was rude and aggressive when I pointed this out. My husband agreed to take the sandwiches. When the bill came he had charged us for a ham and cheese baguette when was more expensive. I tole him that this was not what I ordered and he really didn't care. Soft drinks were €9. There are very nice restaurant's/shops in anicapri, wait until you go back down and have something better.
