The Panorama restaurant is located in the center of Capri town, just steps from the Piazzetta. The menu features traditional dishes served with a creative, modern twist.

The View

True to its name, the restaurant overlooks a spectacular panorama that stretches from the Bay of Naples to the slopes of Mt. Tiberius, with a glimpse of the clock tower in the town's Piazzetta. Next to the dining terrace, the shaded lemon grove forms a canopy where guests can relax with a drink before or after their meal.

The Menu

The menu at Panorama features local ingredients and products, including the catch of the day selected each morning at the local harbor, domestic meat, island vegetables, and fresh pasta made daily, including, gnocchi, scialatielli, and the famous ravioli capresi, made according to our grandmother's recipe.

Neapolitan Pizza

Guests can also order traditional Neapolitan pizza at Panorama, with long-rising pizza dough and firing in a wood oven.

Hospitality

Luciano Desiderio and his son Raffaelle have been personally welcoming guests to Panorama for over 40 years.

Fabulous Restaurant

We found this restaurant for lunch by chance when wandering down the back streets. We were in Capri for a day trip and dressed very casually so I wasn't sure they'd let us in but they did and we got a table at the front with a fabulous view. All staff were so friendly and the service was perfect. The food was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place and so wish we'd been there in the evening to have dinner here. Thank you to the staff for giving us directions down to the port too.

Beautiful place but food is not equivalent

Wonderful place. I paid even more for the side table. But the food is not equivalent to the place and value. I found the entrance tuna tasteless. And the tiramisu dessert (pasme, without taste of an authentic tiramisu from Italy)and the chocolate pie also with a weak taste. I expected more.

This restaurant was my favorite restaurant in Capri! Not only was the food, view and atmosphere perfect, but we had the absolute best service. The servers were entertaining and also had a great sense of humor. On top of that, when they ran out of blankets they let me and my sister have a couple of their sweatshirts. They also saved my dad’s shirt by giving us all food bibs for the lobster (yes his bib had splatters all over). And lastly, they gave us some complementary lemon cello shots. This is going to be a memory that me and my family will never forget!

Great food and atmosphere, the staff was super friendly and gave us great tips for going around town after. Food was very nicely presented and drinks were nice
