Sunset Maliblu

Sunset Maliblu sits at the base of Punta Carena Lighthouse on Capri's western coast, in Anacapri. The terrace looks out over open water, with the sun setting directly ahead. Outdoor tables and low sofas face the horizon, and a solarium area with showers means you can make a full day of it.

The menu keeps things simple: tapas, fresh salads, and well-made cocktails, best enjoyed as the sky starts to change color. With a view like this, it's hard to ask for more.

On Sunday evenings in summer, Maliblu becomes a fixture. A late-afternoon DJ set draws locals and visitors alike, and the atmosphere builds right alongside the sunset. It's one of the better ways to close out a day on the island.

Getting there: from Anacapri, take the local bus to the Faro, about 10 minutes. On foot, the path through the Mediterranean scrubland takes roughly 40 minutes from Anacapri. From Capri town or the port, you'll need to change buses in Anacapri. A direct taxi to the lighthouse is also an option.
