Capri boat tour: stunning caves, crystal waters & the legendary Faraglioni

Tour of Capri with Alilauro, what a terrible company! We were supposed to be at the meeting point in Sorrento at 9:20, but when we arrived, we were told that the departure is now at 10:55 because we will not be changing boats as indicated in our itinerary. I asked why we were not informed of the change, and no answer was given. Departure was delayed, the boat is overcrowded. During the island tour, we can hardly see anything through the worn windows, and people are pushing to find a decent view, and the boat sways according to the position of the people (we have no enjoyment). As we got off the boat, our guide Frédérica informed us that she would wait for us at dock 10 at 4:00 PM. At 3:50 PM, we found ourselves at dock 10, there were many people who were not with us at the start, and our guide was not there. A boat arrived, and we were told that it was not ours. I found an Alilauro representative, and he informed me that our dock is now 12. There were already many people at dock 12, and none of the people we had with us in the morning. The boat arrived, and we were told that it was not ours once again. People are pushing, and the boat is in a hurry to leave. There is a group ready to board, but the captain of the boat decides that it is leaving! But it is leaving in bad weather! He accelerates, several of us on the dock got splashed and choked with black smoke! The guide of the group left behind just cannot believe it (with good reason). We finally find a representative from Alilauro (since our guide Frédérica is still not here) and he tells us that we need to go to dock 13. People are becoming increasingly impatient and more numerous than at the start. The boat arrives quite late and people are dangerously jostling (some risk falling into the water) to take their place. The boat is full, full, full, packed with people standing because there are no more available seats.

Don't buy their tours scammers

On the boat now at Sorrento supposedly heading to Positano but more than 25 minutes late leaving already. Will have half an hour less at Positano as a result. Was queuing 40 minutes in advance of departure. Have been put on a boat that was almost full on arrival at Sorrento. Standing room only. Existing passengers have bags and coats on seats but refuse to move them so others can sit down. Staff not doing anything about it. I would suggest you avoid and pay a bit more to go on a smaller boat trip. Very disappointed already.
