NOT WORTH IT! Payed 186 euros for 2 people..not worth it at all..in these 180 euros 50 are for the boat trop.10 are for the finicular 6 for the taxes while the other 120 supposed to be for the food...they don't even give you a menu to read or think which one you want they only have like 2 choices..not worth it at all...SCAM

Great day out in Capri

Great day out and very well organised. Just pick up your pack of vouchers at the kiosk on the Quay where the ferry lands on Capri. Very helpful staff explain what to do and where to go and suggest which order to do them in. The boat trip was excellent but unfortunately due to the weather it wasnt possible to go into the Blue Grotto. The mini bus up to AnaCapri was easy to find. Lunch and then cable car ride went really well then back down to Capri Town in the mini bus for a look around and then back down to the Quay via the funicular. Great day and well worth the money. Only comment is Capri is so, so busy - and we went in early May. Dread to think what its like later on in the season. But the trip itself is definitely worth the money and very well organised.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions

Is the ferry to and from Capri included in the price?

No, our DIY system gives you the flexibility to arrive in Capri by ferry at the time you choose, so you can start your day trip as early or as late as you want. On this page, you can see prices, schedules, departing port information, and even book your ferry online. We do recommend that you arrive in the morning, however. We do not arrange transfers from Sorrento with small boats for safety reasons. The public ferries are the safest way to reach the island of Capri.

Can I change my dates?
Yes, we are very flexible about changing dates, and your ticket is valid for five days after the reserved date. If you need, we can also move your date forward. If you are staying overnight on Capri, you can divide your package over more than one day: for example, using your boat tour voucher one day and your lunch voucher the next. Remember that the restaurant La Pigna is closed for dinner!
Will we visit the Blue Grotto?

There is a scheduled stop at the Blue Grotto during the boat tour, and tickets must be purchased at the cave entrance if you opt to visit; children pay a reduced price. The Blue Grotto is not managed by Capri Day Tour. The Grotto may be closed in case of adverse weather or sea conditions, and the wait can get quite long during the high season. If the wait is estimated to be more than 60 minutes, the captain can choose to return to port.

Can I get reimbursed for my package?

Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to two days before your reserved date. You can also cancel free of charge within 48 hours if weather or sea conditions make it impossible to reach the island of Capri.

I did not receive my pdf voucher after booking online. What should I do?

Send an email to info@capridaytour.com or call from 9 am to 4 pm at Ristorante La Giara, tel. +39 081 837 3860 or Motoscafisti di Capri tel. +39 081 837 3860

How often does the funicular run?

The funicular runs every 15 minutes, though more frequently when it is full. About the ride downhill from Capri to the port, arrive about 30 minutes before your ferry departs.

What time are the restaurants open for lunch?

The restaurant La Pigna serves lunch from noon to 3 pm, and is closed for dinner.

I follow a special diet. Will there be options for me on the menu?
Of course! Let us know in advance, and we'll make sure there are special options suitable for you.
