Authentic cuisine only steps away from the chaos of downtown Capri

It is easy to get overwhelmed in Capri by the crowds and the number of restaurants and shops vying for your attention. We stumbled on this place which felt like a respite from the rest of the downtown area. The place felt homey, the food was delicious and service on par. As the night wore on, more and more Italians filled the limited number of tables which is always a good sign. We were a party of 5 so had a chance to try a variety of appetizers and mains. They were all in-line with our expectations. This is not high end, gourmet eating but if you want a more local experience with authentic Italian dishes, this is the place. After our meal, we were energized and ready to take on the night on the beautiful island of Capri.

Don't waste your time going to this place. You only get good service if you made a reservation. It's not even that type of restaurant. The silverware was dirty, the owner was rude and couldn't be bothered. The food was subpar at best.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The staff was kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt like a little slice of Italy. If I am ever back in Capri I must go back to this lovely place .
