Located in one of the most beautiful corners of the island of Capri in the panoramic countryside of Anacapri and just steps from the Migliera scenic overlook, Da Gelsomina has been a favorite amongst locals and holidaymakers for decades.

Featured in numerous international restaurant guides, Da Gelsomina is famous for its traditional island dishes, authentic homemade wine, and magnificent views out over the Bay of Naples. You can have lunch or dinner under the pergola with the quiet countryside stretching in all directions, and sample the local specialties like "rabbit alla cacciatora", "pollo al mattone", "ravioli capresi", and "spaghetti alla chiummenzana", tossed with fresh tomatoes.

If you're worried about how to get to Da Gelsomina, relax! Guests of the restaurant, pool, and B&B can all use the free shuttle service to and from central Piazza Caprile in Anacapri.

Da Gelsomina is the best restaurant in Capri. Pasquale and his family have created a "jewel", great food and wine, special service, and a beautiful setting, with views of sunset and the sea. There are many options for those who are gluten-free. If you are fortunate to visit Capri do not miss the opportunity to visit Da Gelsomina

Siamo finiti per pranzo in questo ristorante senza averlo programmato. Ho telefonato e ci hanno fatto raggiungere nel centro di Anacapri da una loro navetta. Vista meritevole. Il ristorante e' in un nucleo di struttura con piscina e credo albergo. Servizio solerte e cortese. Piatti tradizionali e assolutamente ben cucinati. Fresco e buono anche il cestino del pane. Abbiamo preso tante cose tra contorni di verdure, pesci, tartare e primi. Grande soddisfazione. Lo consiglio.

Beautiful views and incredible food. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here at Da Gelsomina, the pastas and the fish were fresh and amazing. This is a family run restaurant for 60 years. Thank you Pasquale, and your entire family and staff for such a memorable night

Our experience was nothing short of perfection! From the beautiful atmosphere & kind staff (the owner waited on us) to the outstanding food & delectable desserts we cannot stop talking about our visit. This should be a must visit while on the island.
