The view is spectacular. The chef tailored our dish which was a risotto with catch of the day. Excellent service, great local wine.

Disappointing

The service at this restaurant was appalling. We were told it was one of the best in Capri and the location was beautiful. But they clearly judged (and misjudged) us on the basis of our appearance. We were shown to a table at the rear of the dining room despite tables being available at the front with the view. We were not given olive oil or balsamic vinegar with our bread, which every other table was. We were largely ignored throughout the meal while other diners, who were better dressed, were fussed over. Very disappointing given we have dined in some wonderful restaurants in Italy in the past three weeks having flown business class from New Zealand and had the fantastic experience of travelling on La Dolce Vita Orient Express where the service was exceptional.

Elegant, without being over. Excellent service, beautiful sea view of Capri, good wines and food within the expected for the cost. Highlight for the little pancakes at the entrance.

My 40 years

I decided to spend my 40th birthday party with my family for lunch. Lucio, the owner was very kind helping me and advising me for a suitable menu. We arranged everything over the phone, I had recommended myself for a table with a view of the stacks and he kept his word fully. The menu included seafood and vegetable appetizers , served as a plate , 2 first courses ., dessert . Everything great and perfect. All the staff made sure we never missed anything. They were amazing. Thank you.
