La Capannina's menu includes all the best loved local dishes, including sea food scialatielli, stuffed calamari, linguine with red fish and, of course, ravioli capresi, the island's legendary pasta dish, famous in the United States after having been featured on Giada De Laurentiis's Food Network.

La Capannina's wine list contains over 400 labels from the most highly prized Italian and international wine producers. All the wines featured are also available for purchase in the nearby La Capannina Più, shop created by the De Angelis family's as point of sale for high quality wines, spirits and a variety of gastronomic delicacies as well as 'luxury accessories for your house and boat!

Capri by night

La Capannina Bar, situated opposite the restaurant is one of the island's favorite evening venues, where to partake in a glass or two of excellent wine or a cocktail. A tempting selection of sweet and savory nibbles provides the perfect accompaniment.
The bar has been designed so as to recreate the atmosphere of Capri's most elegant villas, furnished with period prints and pavements in terracotta. Soft background music contributes to the wonderfully relaxing atmosphere pervading both the inside sitting areas and the attractive, open air courtyard.

Lo stato dell’arte della cucina caprese. È quasi superfluo elogiarne i talenti culinari, ma vale la pena sottolineare il calore e l’atmosfera che questo locale riesce a trasmettere — non solo sul piano estetico. In occasione del compleanno di mia moglie, il 10 ottobre 2025, per la nostra prima volta a Capri decisi di sorprenderla con una cena alla Capannina. Senza alcuna preparazione anticipata, lo staff riuscì a rendere quella serata semplicemente indimenticabile. Il loro “calore” lo sentiamo ancora oggi.

Incredible anniversary at La Capannina

I was in Capri on October the 8th to celebrate a 3-year anniversary with my girlfriend, and I must say, the dinner at La Capannina exceeded all of our expectations. The food was excellent, but the main standout was the incredible service we received from - in particular - our main waiter, Sonia. She congratulated us on the anniversary immediately upon arrival and made us feel very welcome with her charming and warm approach. Later in the evening, the lights came off and Sonia, together with other waiters, broke out in singing (amongst others Volare and That’s Amore) which all the guests loved. Apparently, these songs occur when special occasions arise, such as that of our anniversary. We also received some complimentary biscuits to enjoy after the lovely singing session. It is hard to describe the amazing atmosphere we experienced over the course of those two hours, but everything was great. All the waiters, the service, the food and the vibes. Thank you so much to Sonia and the rest of the team for this fantastic experience! We will be sure to come back.

This restaurant is in a class of its own.. The food, staff, ambiance & location are perfectly fantastic! I have celiac disease and my gluten free spaghetti dish was delicious!! My son had one of the restaurants specialities - ravioli. He said it was the best ravioli he's ever tasted! The restaurant is charming with delightful owners & staff who make you feel comfortable and special. I cannot praise the restaurant highly enough. Food 10/10 Owners 10/10 Staff 10/10 Restaurant style & ambiance 10/10 Location 10/10 Thank you!!!
