Simple home cooking, same-day-fresh ingredients, and great value for money: you just can't go wrong with Capri's "Lo Sfizio" restaurant and pizzeria!

The perfect pit stop

Lo Sfizio is located along the peaceful pathway which, from the Piazzetta, leads up to Villa Jovis, making it the ideal place to have lunch either before or after you visit the best conserved of Emperor Tiberius' island residences.

Big is beautiful

Designed for those with a healthy appetite, at Lo Sfizio you won't find fancy creative recipes or nouvelle cuisine style rationing, but rather abundant portions of traditional ravioli capresi, sea food linguine, and the very freshest of local fish.

Finger-licking good

Lo Sfizio is famous for its pizzas, cooked in a traditional wood burning oven, and its grilled chicken, the restaurant's much-loved signature dish.

Lo sfizio's fragrant pizzas and delicious chicken can be eaten in or taken away

At Lo Sfizio, clients eat in the main dining room or outside, at one of the tables positioned on the path leading to Villa Jovis, or in the small garden next to the restaurant.

Best meal in Italy so far!

Best meal in Italy so far! We stumbled upon Lo Sfizio trying to dine away from the fray of Capri centro. Especially if you’re staying in Capri, it’s an easy (ok, uphill) ~10 minute walk. But SO worth it. Wonderful service. Reasonable prices. We shared a pizza (so amazing) plus roasted red snapper and potatoes/tomatoes. And a bottle of Valpolicella. Can’t recommend this place enough. Even sat outside along the footpath; but it’s only locals coming by on their way home from town, so nothing like the crush of Capri main square. Still good people-watching, just much more local and low key.

Buon cibo e atmosfera informale
