The Panorama restaurant is located in the center of Capri town, just steps from the Piazzetta. The menu features traditional dishes served with a creative, modern twist.

The View

True to its name, the restaurant overlooks a spectacular panorama that stretches from the Bay of Naples to the slopes of Mt. Tiberius, with a glimpse of the clock tower in the town's Piazzetta. Next to the dining terrace, the shaded lemon grove forms a canopy where guests can relax with a drink before or after their meal.

The Menu

The menu at Panorama features local ingredients and products, including the catch of the day selected each morning at the local harbor, domestic meat, island vegetables, and fresh pasta made daily, including, gnocchi, scialatielli, and the famous ravioli capresi, made according to our grandmother's recipe.

Neapolitan Pizza

Guests can also order traditional Neapolitan pizza at Panorama, with long-rising pizza dough and firing in a wood oven.

Hospitality

Luciano Desiderio and his son Raffaelle have been personally welcoming guests to Panorama for over 40 years.

My husband and I took our B&B recommendation for this restaurant and we were not disappointed! It was a bit tricky to find but once we did, it was a lovely experience. If you want to sit at the railing for a fab view, you have to spend €150 each. We had a more central table and still had a lovely view. I wanted some fresh fish and the head waiter made sure I had what I wanted. The usual style of preparation did not appeal to me so he recommended “alla griglia” with fresh herbs, peppers and tomatoes. It was delicious. My husband enjoyed his pasta and we shared a salad. The waiter made the fresh dressing at the table while we watched. He was impressive with a lemon! The light Capri lemon cake we shared for dessert was another pleasant surprise.

Great view, lovely food in a spot in Capri. I had Capes's Salad was yum. Followed by steak which was also well cooked. Worth a visit

Consiglio Panorama per una cena caprese sia con amici che in coppia; il locale è da poco ristrutturato, ha una bella vista ed è vicinissimo alla piazzetta. Pesce ottimo, insieme agli antipasti, e buona selezione di vini. Il prezzo è caro ma onesto rispetto agli altri ristoranti capresi. Super consigliato

Abbiamo pranzato con amici in questo ristorante situato in un viottolo francamente non facile da trovare. La vista è impagabile. Il locale è arredato bene e il servizio professionale. Il menù non è ampissimo che di solito giudico come fattore positivo ma in questo caso non ho trovato piatti che mi stimolassero particolarmente. Quello che ho trovato stonato sono i prezzi secondo me assolutamente esagerati. Non mi aspettavo di mangiare un pasto completo a meno di 50 euro, so bene che anche la location si paga, ma qui mi pare si esageri. Difficile con due portate e un calice di vino a restare sotto le 80-100 euro a persona. Sono prezzi da ristoranti stellati o comunque con proposte di un certo livello.
