    Just a few tiny points shy of being fantastic. But definitely worthy of staying in!

    Interesting hotel that has both beauty and decay depending on how closely you look. My bedside socket was broken, making it impossible to easily charge my phone, the bathroom appeared luxurious but the tub and jets were just for show, everything plugged up, no bathtub spigot, only a weak rain head shower that was so disappointing after being tempted by the useless tub. I was devastated. Some positives were .., having balcony doors to open to the night breeze. Sitting on the tiny balcony, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was delicious- especially the diced fruit they offered!!!!! And the granola! Delicious!!! Location was interesting and amid capri’s ritzy streets. Unfortunately, the hotel next door had a loud late evening on its outside courtyard that filtered clearly into the room, and sometime during the night, fire alarms went off that we did not hear (scary!) but half our tour group did. If the fire was real or didn’t get suppressed, would we have burned up since our half of the hotel didn’t hear a thing?!??? (See first line, beauty and decay)

    Stopped for lunch on the way back from the Augustu gardens. Food was okay. But the white coat Maitre'd added a "Cover Charge" of 6 euros to our bill that was not listed anywhere. This place was the only one in our two weeks in Italy that I felt ripped off. Taxis were all great. His excuse was "You are in Italy, that is what we do"

    room very nice and Capri style, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and very rich, we hope to return soon.

    I returned to this hotel after years and expected to find it as it was, unfortunately I think it had a slight decline. Cleanliness not excellent, breakfast little varied. Obviously the location is great, a stone's throw from the famous square of Capri. Friendly staff and very helpful.
