A restaurant immersed in a luxuriant garden might be the last thing you'd expect to find slap bang in the middle of Capri, but that's one of the reasons why Villa Verde is such a popular place to eat!

Lunch in this restaurant on the occasion of a conference. We were many but this did not affect the speed and quality of service and food. Great restaurant, excellent impression for the efficiency of everything and we will definitely return in private.
Worst place on Capri

Visited Villa Verde on our last evening in Capri — and it turned out to be the worst possible ending to the trip.
We waited an unreasonably long time for our mains. When the food finally arrived, the pasta was so salty it was completely inedible. We asked them to remake it — they did, but clearly reused the same seafood, as the mussels were still overly salty. It felt like they just reassembled the dish instead of actually fixing it.
To make matters worse, the waiter initially told us the pasta would cost €30, but in the end we were charged €40 per dish. No explanation, no transparency — just added to the overall frustration.
In the end, there was zero enjoyment from the meal — only disappointment. For a restaurant of this level, both the service and the food fell far below expectations.
Absolutely not recommended.

You don't eat badly but the prices are high and there is a hell of a mess. Groups in delirium, you can not converse or even eat!
We're never going back!

Excellent cuttlefish tagliatelle on chickpea and friarielli soup. Very good gnocchi caprese.
