Emozioni di Primavera
A program of cultural, musical, theatrical, and institutional events promoted by the City of Capri throughout May. The calendar includes literary meetings, concerts, performances, exhibitions, wellness activities, and traditional celebrations, with events taking place in various locations across the island.
May 11 – June 3, 2026 – Certosa di San Giacomo, Capri
Back to Life – From the Dolomites to Capri
Historical exhibition dedicated to the liberation and transfer journey of 139 SS prisoners from the Dachau concentration camp. The exhibition retraces their journey from the Dolomites to Capri through documents, testimonies, and historical materials. The exhibition will open on May 11 at 5:00 PM at the Chiostro Piccolo of the Certosa di San Giacomo and will remain open to visitors until June 3.

A program of religious celebrations dedicated to the patron saint of the island of Capri, including masses, processions, moments of prayer, and musical initiatives organized by local parishes. The events take place in various locations across the island.

God is Mother
Cultural meeting dedicated to the book “God is Mother” by Daniele Vuotto, as part of the “Rereading Capri” series. The event will feature talks and insights by scholars and university professors, with an introduction by Eduardo Federico. The meeting will take place at Sala Luigi Pollio at 5:00 PM.

Haeckel and Capri
Opening of the exhibition “Artistic Forms of the Sea,” curated by Bruno Flavio, dedicated to the relationship between art, marine nature, and scientific inspirations drawn from the work of Ernst Haeckel. The opening event will take place at the Fondazione Serena - Messanelli - Zweig at 6:30 PM.
May 23, 2026 – Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio, Capri
White Nights
Theatrical performance inspired by the work of F. M. Dostoevsky, adapted by Fiorenzo Madonna with original music by Gian Marco Libeccio. The event will take place at the Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio at 6:00 PM.

ArmoniE Trio
Concert by the ArmoniE Trio as part of the Capri Art Music Festival – 9th Edition “Antonino D’Emilio”, featuring Palma di Gaetano on flute, Giordano Muolo on clarinet, and Danilo Panico on piano. The event will take place at the Former Cathedral of Santo Stefano in Capri at 5:30 PM, with free admission.

Capri Yoga & Lab
A series of events dedicated to yoga and wellbeing, featuring activities for different age groups, including senior yoga, adult yoga, and children’s yoga, as well as relaxation experiences such as sound baths. The sessions will take place in various locations across the island, offering moments of practice, sharing, and care for both body and mind.

Marilyn 100 – Eternal Spring
An art exhibition by David Parenti dedicated to the iconic figure of Marilyn Monroe, on the occasion of the centenary of her birth. The exhibition presents works inspired by the timeless myth of the actress, celebrating her charm and cultural legacy. The opening will take place on March 21 at 5:30 PM at Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio, with a presentation by the French writer and film critic Jean-Max Méjean.
