ADMISSION to La Canzone del Mare Beach Club

This is my third review of this hotel since 2013. The location of the hotel is still absolutely magnificent and we were warmly welcomed by the staff, above all Assunta and Kevin. The breakfast crew was also always very friendly and accommodating. The rooms have gotten even older, the same door still squeaks, the lock still sticks, the shower should have been replaced ten years ago, the toilet flush is on the verge of functionality. The conditions in the office and management are catastrophic. Here is a brief summary of the correspondence with my wife, Jenny Bretschger: April 30, 2026: The Gracie room was confirmed for September 3 - 11. June 3, 2026: The reservation was canceled, alleged reason "technical problems with the booking portal." June 5, 2026: one could only book starting September 19. June 10, 2026: The Gracie room is available and is being reserved (September 13 - 21). August 8, 2026: "The Gracie room had already been confirmed in 2025 to one of our regular guests, who renews their stay at our facility every year." We have also been coming every year since 2013! August 13, 2026: Proposal: first two nights in the Gracie, additional nights in a different room. At checkout, a meal we never had was then initially charged to us. - Conclusion: I have never experienced such a level of incompetence and audacity!

We stayed at the Canzone del Mare at the end of August. What can I say, a vintage property in the most beautiful spot in Capri. Kevin and Assunta are a guarantee, always available to satisfy our every need throughout our stay. The breakfast was super rich with an amazing view. The girl at the Asia restaurant was truly very kind and competent. The beach area is the most beautiful in Capri with a wonderful private beach. The three lifeguards were very kind and attentive to fulfilling our every wish. From every point of the property, you could enjoy a wonderful view. It was a very pleasant stay, we will definitely be back soon.

Excellent stay in a spectacular setting, with an incomparable view of the Faraglioni. I was with my 15-year-old son and what made the experience even more pleasant was the extraordinary kindness and helpfulness of the entire staff, always attentive and smiling. Authentic hospitality that really makes the difference. We will definitely be back!

Perfect vacation. Unique and extraordinary location. All the staff were kind, friendly, and professional, especially those at the reception.
