La Canzone del Mare has been part of the history of Capri ever since the 1950's, when the British entertainer Gracie Fields fell in love with Marina Piccola and created what was soon to become the island's most glamorous lido, on the bay's sunny, sea edge terraces on the southern coast of the island. The beach club has an enviable location overlooking the dramatic Faraglioni, and La Canzone del Mare has long been one of the mosst exclusive spots on the island.
The beach club's super-accessorized beach cabins (equipped with air conditioning, telephone, internet connection and private bathroom), sun decks, and snack bar'' are all set around of the main swimming pool. A second pool, with massage jetsy, is situated in the most secluded corner of the establishment. Canzone del Mare also has its own ''private beach, with sun loungers, towels, and beach umbrellas.
