TERRIBLE

From the moment that this company advertises a 4-hour boat tour, the implication is that the tourist will be exposed to a comprehensive range of information beyond a mere boat ride. It is also implied that the captain possesses not only the knowledge to steer the boat but also the ability to communicate fluently in the language spoken by the tourists, encompassing the full spectrum of experiences a tour entails, particularly one that charges 450 Euros. Unfortunately, the captain’s performance fell short of these expectations. While he demonstrated proficiency in steering the boat, the experience of communicating the historical, social, and other contextual background of the sights he was showing us was entirely absent. His responses were limited to monosyllabic Italian phrases, interspersed with a few English words, providing scant and inadequate information. Furthermore, he smoked incessantly throughout the trip, without inquiring about any personal health contraindications to secondary smoking exposure. Instead of elaborating or providing further information, he simply pointed at the sights and named them. This lack of effort to enhance the experience did not justify the charge for the tour. He could have explained numerous aspects that he chose to withhold, making no visible effort to transform the experience into an informative and enjoyable one. Therefore, we paid 450 Euros for a boat ride, not a comprehensive boat tour. The boat itself did not provide a spacious enough platform or secure steps for us to access the boat safely and securely; consequently it was not adequately equipped to serve our needs as passengers and paying customers. Recognizing that a visit to the Blue Grotto tour was not feasible due to the high tide and that swimming was not advisable for us due to the difficulties of accessibility to and from the boat, there was ample time remaining for us to explore the island. This was not even offered by the captain so the "tour" did not meet the minimum standards of customer satisfaction. Even worse, the captain seized the opportunity of a passing comment regarding a slight state of nausea (which did not prevent at all the continuation of the trip) to terminate the boat ride and go back to port. There was no necessity of docking and he made no effort in communicating his decision to cut the tour short. We were experimenting no conditions that necessitated docking. So we paid a full price for 4 hours of a tour that lasted 2.5 hours. When we requested a refund of 150 €, given the unsatisfactory services we received, the company refused to return the funds for the unused portion of the trip.

AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE

My wife and I paid for a 4 hours tour but the captain decided (without consultation with us) to end it after 2 hours and 10 minutes. Their excuse is that I informed the captain that I had begun to feel sea sick. The explanation of the sights by the skipper was poor, there was only water to drink (not other beverages as advertised) and my wife could not swim due to the lack of proper and secure boat equipment. I would stayaway from Vincenzo Capri Boats.

Great 4 hour boat trip

We were on the tour the place was amazing Capri is a very nice place and we enjoyed the beauty of Capri island from the boat. But there were few things witch were not like in the description: there suppouse to be soft drinks and water included in the price instead of it there was only water. There was standing fresh water shower on the boat witch was again not available....we havent made a problem out of it but as we were "threw out" from the boat and we actually arrived 15 minutes earlier that left a bad taste and made us disappointed
