Hotel Alla Bussola

My stay at Hotel La Bussola was really great. We enjoyed every detail: the valuable advice of Mrs. Rita, the courtesy of Mr. Cyrus and Christian, the rich and delicious breakfast buffet, in addition to the clean and comfortable rooms. The property is ideally located, a few steps from the square of Anacapri and the church of Hagia Sophia, with a convenient grocery store nearby. A strong point of the hotel is certainly the beautiful swimming pool with solarium, perfect for relaxing and admiring the view. We will definitely be back: they made our holiday a very pleasant experience.

Very nice hotel, nice rooms, nice and functional. Run by Rita and her brother Cristiano with the help of Ciro very nice, they manage, with their kind, courteous and affable ways to make you feel at home. Attentive to every need put guests in a position to spend the holiday at its best. Hotel also equipped with swimming pool and solarium, located near the center of Anacapri and from bus and taxi stops. Definitely will return

Our stay at Hotel Bussola was fantastic. I first stayed here in 2001 when it was Bussola di Hermes and much smaller. I brought my family back here in April on our trip to Capri and of course we would stay here and no where else because Rita had made my first trip so amazing. Rita's energy and care for her hotel and all the guests has not changed in 24 years but the hotel has blossomed. The beautiful pool area and deck, the wonderful patio with the louvers, the statues, the gorgeous tile, and of course the well-appointed rooms are all amazing. And yes, they serve a delightful breakfast. All of this and yet no haughty, hoity, attitude like you would get at most hotels. Rita and Christian can give you great advice on travel on the island, sights to see, and places to go. There is a small grocery store just a minutes walk up the road for any picnic items or sundries you may want. The Hotel is conveniently located in a quieter, less busy area just minutes from the main tourist area and its shops, restaurants, bus stops, and attractions, which makes it even nicer. The Hotel Bussola is as close to home as you can get while travelling. Every time I come back to Anacapri, I will only stay here. Capri is a place for positivity and that is what you will take away from your warm stay with Rita and Christian.

This is Italy. The hotel is magnificently appointed with beautiful details. And they are constantly making upgrades, and adding to the beauty that is already there. But it's the warmth of the people that made staying here the ideal. It's not stodgy courtesy. It is care that you get the chance to see the beauty of the island, and the generosity of their nature. It's wonderfully located that you feel like you are part of the community. And everyone around the hotel is welcoming and lovely. Close enough to get everywhere you want to go. But it was magical to return to the hotel for an impromptu picnic on the patio, watching the sunset over the sea. Bar-none, the nicest people we met in Italy own this charming secret of a hotel.
