FAQ - Frequently asked questions
What's the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 3 full days before the service start time (local service start time). After this deadline, 100% of the service cost will be charged. If weather conditions prevent the tour from taking place, cancellation is free, and the operator will contact you to offer an alternative date.
What happens if the weather is bad on tour day?
In case of bad weather or rough seas, Capri Relax Boats will contact you the same morning to assess conditions. If navigation isn't safe, the tour is canceled without any charge, or you can reschedule for another date.
Where is the meeting point?
The meeting point is at Marina Grande, Capri's main port, where ferries and hydrofoils arrive. The Capri Relax Boats office is located at Via Cristoforo Colombo 34, across from the pier called "Banchinella". After the check-in at the office, you'll be accompanied on a short walk to the private dock where the boats are moored.
Is it possible to visit the Blue Grotto during the tour?
The Blue Grotto is optional and not included in the tour price. Access isn't guaranteed because the grotto closes during rough seas or strong winds, conditions that can change throughout the day. During high season, waiting times to enter can exceed 2 hours due to the high number of visitors. If you want to visit, you'll need to pay the ticket at the entrance.
Is there a bathroom onboard the Riva 44?
Yes, the Riva 44 has a full bathroom with a shower located below deck. An external freshwater shower on deck is also included, ideal for rinsing off after swimming in the sea. The below-deck area also includes a cabin and a living space with a compact kitchen.
How does payment work?
Payment is made directly on the day of the tour; no advance payment is required at booking. A credit card is only required as a guarantee, and a pre-authorization may be processed during online booking. You can pay in cash or by credit card at the Capri Relax Boats office in Marina Grande before departure.
Is it possible to have lunch during the excursion?
Yes, during longer tours (7-8 hours), it's possible to stop for lunch at a seaside restaurant. Lunch is not included in the price of the tour. Restaurant reservations are recommended in advance, especially during high season.
Which destinations can be reached beyond Capri?
Beyond a complete Capri tour, separate tours are available that combine Capri with a second destination: Positano, Amalfi, Nerano, Ischia, or Procida. These tours last 7-8 hours, depending on the chosen destination.
